Hi, I’m Dr. Rebeca Moreno, veterinarian and founder of Best by Vets.
I don’t see veterinary medicine as a job.
I see it as responsibility.
Some cases heal quickly.
Others stay hidden, misunderstood or poorly guided.
Those are the ones I feel called to.
Best by Vets was born because I could not accept rushed consultations, surface-level answers or protocols applied without real understanding.
I wanted to create a space where animals are listened to with precision, and their families are guided with calm and clarity.
Not louder medicine — but deeper medicine.
My work focuses on animals who continue to suffer despite “normal” test results, generic advice or incomplete diagnoses.
I take the time to analyze pathology, medical reports, behavioral signals and biological responses.
Nutrition is one of my most powerful tools, but it is not the only one. Clinical reasoning comes first.
How I Work
Every case begins with deep observation, not assumptions.
I do not follow templates or standard plans.
I study patterns, timelines and biological logic.

Clinical Background
My clinical training includes:
• Master’s in Small Animal Medicine – UAB
• Master’s in Functional Nutrition – SRA
• Postgraduate Degree in Exotic Animal Medicine – Ifevet
• Advanced training in internal medicine, hematology, diagnostic imaging (ultrasound), and emergency and critical care.
• Continuous education in clinical nutrition and complex chronic cases
My focus is not only knowledge — but how to think clinically when answers are unclear.
I believe medicine should feel calm, clear and safe.
